Introduction :

A responsible manager's life is beset with myriad problems ranging in extent form purely technical to purely humane. To steer an organisation through trouble, a manager must be creative. What he requires is an orderly approach and an application of rational thought processes. These approaches have been combined to generate methods of problem analysis and techniques of decision making that have proven to be of immense practical use.
