External Linkages Cell, XLRI Jamshedpur



XLRI’s face to the ‘world at large’

Started in 1999 to coincide with XLRI’s Golden Jubilee Celebrations, the External Linkages Cell (or EL as it is better known) is the brand and media management cell at XLRI Jamshedpur.

Purpose:

  • To project XLRI as a B-school, that produces management professionals who live its core values of Excellence, Relationship and Integrity, to its various stakeholders (media, industry, prospective students and alumni)
  • To not only act as XLRI’s spokesperson to the outside world but also to maintain and nurture brand XLRI by looking for and utilizing synergies where the XLRI brand would fit in.
  • Building relationships with the Media; crafting Media Strategies for events; organising faculty articles in print; finding and utilizing synergies where the XLRI brand would fit in, handling TV and Press Media.
