The Library Provides Personalized Short range and long range reference services for it's users.
Documentation Service
The Library Provides Bibliographies, Reading Lists, CAS, and SDI Services etc in anticipation or on Request.
Reprographic Service
Xerox counter on ground floor of the Library caters to the need of the readers. The Library has Canon Electronic Photocopier machine with high speed. The charges for XLRI members are Rs.1 per exposure.
Current Press Clipping Service
Current Press Clipping Service National and Regional newspapers are scanned and its clippings are filed subject wise for reference. The files are kept up to date.

Reprints of Articles
Reprints of articles that are not available in the Library can be procured from other libraries on request. The Library has national and regional union catalogues of periodicals compiled by INSDOC for reference. Apart from this, the Library supplies articles from CD-ROM databases and forms our own library collection.
Current Content Service
The Library circulates " Current Pages" of journals subscribed by other libraries like IIM's, ISI, etc., amongst the faculty members of the Institute and fulfills the articles request through procurement on resource sharing basis
Industrial Information
Company profiles and annual reports of leading industries like, TELCO, TATA Steel, TISCO etc., have been organized under clipping and articles service on ground floor.
