Introduction :

Sexual Harassment of Women at the Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 is an important milestone in the fight against sexual harassment of woman in workplace. The Act has placed many compliance requirements on every employer employing 10 or more employees. Non- Compliance of the statute envisages severe penalty for the employer including cancellation of licenses, registration or approval for conducting the business. The program tries to create awareness with regards to law against sexual harassment and also deals with specific procedural and practical aspects pertaining to its implementation.

Objectives :

  • Creating awareness on law regarding prevention of sexual harassment against women at workplace.

  • Understanding what constitutes sexual harassment.
  • Understanding the constitution and role of the Internal Complaints Committee.
