Insight is the annual, national-level, consulting conference organized by CRUX at New Delhi. The theme of last year's conference was "Sustainability: The outlook of business and government". The event saw wide participation from the student community across all b-schools and from the industry. Eminent personalities from the industry participated in the panel discussions on the various aspects of sustainability. The guest speakers for the conference were:

The conference was sponsored by leading organizations such as WWF, Airtel, Deloitte, Central Bank of India, Recycle Trade India and Thompson Press.



Drishtikon is an Inter B-school competition held in tandem with the annual consulting conference, Insight. The aim of Drishtikon is to provide a platform for ideas that will change the way we do business. The theme of the competition for 2011 was "Sustainability". The shortlisted teams were given an opportunity to present their ideas at the consulting conference in New Delhi in front of an audience comprising of b-school students, industry delegates and eminent personalities from the consulting world.



Strategikon was CRUX's flagship event at Ensemble 2011, one of India's largest b-school fests. The event saw a participation of over 175 teams from all the top b-schools in India. The first round was a strategy based quiz and the second round was a simulation game devised by the CRUX team itself to test the mettle of the participants in unpredictable business scenarios. The event entailed a total prize money of Rs 60,000.


Genesis was a social B-plan competition organized by CRUX. It was an opportunity for budding social entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas to one of the biggest Venture Capital firms in India, Indian Angel Network and receive seed funding and expertise in implementing their revolutionary socially relevant business plans. Prize money worth Rs 50,000 was given to the winners.

Think Before You Ink

This was an inter b-school article writing competition, which was announced and launched through our Facebook page. With various relevant business topics to choose from students were encouraged to pen down their views on the burning issues of the day. We received an overwhelming response from the student community for this event with over 150 entries coveting for the prestigious prize of being a featured article in our magazine CREST and website. The entries were judged by our eminent professors and


Zenesys Case League

An intra-XLRI case league challenge was organized by CRUX to give students a better understanding to the approach of effective case study and problem solving. The case league series was supported by Zenesys and students were to analyze a host of mini-cases. The winner of the event was awarded a free participation to the prestigious Airtel Consulting Bootcamp. The top 3 winners were provided an opportunity to interview with Mr. SaibalSen, President, Zenesys Consulting.


Intra-College Competition

CRUX regularly organizes various other events such as "Guesstimates", "Out of the Box", "Business Simulation Competition" etc. which combine the dual aspects of fun and learning among the students at XLRI.
