E-Cell

Established in 2012, E-Cell was founded by the students and faculty of XLRI to develop and promote an entrepreneurial ecosystem in XLRI. With an aim to fuel the spirit of entrepreneurship in the students and other stakeholders of XLRI, E Cell embarked on a journey to create awareness and a visible footprint of entrepreneurship in and around Jamshedpur region by conducting various events and setting up its own incubation centre.

Since its inception, E Cell has organized multiple events like Entrepreneurs Café which includes talks by Founders of eminent Startups, Emerging Entrepreneurs Award to imbibe entrepreneurial instincts into school students, Case Competitions and Internship opportunity with Startups for Graduate level students and National Level B Plan Competitions Disrupt and Genesis for B Schools across the country Also E Cell, XLRI has been actively engaged in providing consultancy to Startups through direct association and via floating Live Projects to students in XLRI Campus Historically, E Cell has been known for organizing events like Dainik Jagran Startup City Pitch, Invited Start up Yatra van, Innovation conclave with CII and plethora of other events.

XLRI has recently set up its own Startup incubator, XCEED, with the help of its students, alumni and faculty A physical facility of 6000 sqft has been identified and set up on campus The initiative will be later expanded to the upcoming campuses in Delhi NCR, Mumbai and also look at options to support incubation in Bengaluru and other metro cities XCEED has started accepting applications on the website since August 2019 XCEED benefits the students by Workshops, Placement deferment, Partial loan EMI waiver and Internship opportunities at XCEED.
