Ideakon is a Speaker Series cum networking event with the aim of bringing the real life stories of startup founders to the campus. The primary purpose is to give an exposure of the life of entrepreneurs to students and give them a platform to interact with them to encourage entrepreneurship as a possible career option. Ideakon'15 speaker series panel included Ayaan Chawla (Founder & CEO - Asian Fox Developments), Ravi Shankar Mishra (Co-Founder & CEO, Medinfi Healthcare), Sharad Kumar (Co-Founder & Director at Fashionove.com), Dr. Dhaval Shah (Founder - PharmEasy) and Jaspreet Singh Saluja (Founding member of housing.com).The main agenda to organize such an event is to give an exposure to the students to the world of entrepreneurship who are actively seeking inspiration.



During Ensemble E Cell conducted its annual b-plan competition 'Genesis', which saw enthusiastic participation from colleges all over the country. Total prize money of Rs. 70,000 was awarded to the two most promising ventures. The event was judged by Mr. Arijit Bhattacharya who runs several business ventures of his own and also manages several venture capital funds. Three of the finalist teams will be mentored by Mr. Bhattacharya and gain from his experience.


A completely new event "Dhanda" was conducted to break the ice with the junior batch. The first round of the event saw over 100 students in 20 teams which had to come up with a business idea based on a certain situation given to them. They then gave an elevator pitch to the other teams who acted as angel investors. The shortlisted teams that 'invested' their money in the most sought ventures and came up with the best idea moved into the final round which was a business simulation board game coupled with an entrepreneurship quiz.
