Associate Dean’s Message

“Welcome to XLRI. To give a succinct view about what I believe of VIL – the way the wheel changed the way we transport and travel from one place to other, similar will be the case the way virtual interactive learning changes the way we educate ourselves to learn, teach, and train. And in that endeavour, you will observe that XLRI has been on the forefront. It started this right in 2002 when others were probably just thinking on those lines. At least to our knowledge, we are not aware of any university whether in India or abroad taking this up as a certificate program and then today if you observe, we have graduated over 7000 graduates and we see a great ecosystem there in terms of VIL-based programs. So this has been the case throughout wherein over 300 hours of vigorous learning and teaching, using faculty from XLRI, executive education has got transformed wherein you can be in your home city, you can be in your hometown whether it is a big city like Bombay or it is a small place such as Dehradun, our programs can reach you guys; That has been our endeavour and we believe we’ll stick to this particular endeavour in the long term. To ensure that we do a good job, we ensure that technology improves with time. We also ensure that our programs get updated with time, and we also ensure that the feedback of the participants is taken into importance to do our business in a great way.” Associate Dean, VIL
