Course Details
The course helps participants gain a better understanding of the critical elements of logistics and supply chain management. It equips participants with the required depth and balance of technical and managerial competencies to help them function successfully in their chosen field. The objective of the course is to give participants a frame of reference for logistics and supply chain management. It helps them gain a better understanding of the functions of logistics and supply chain systems. It also shows them how the business environment, management and operations influence logistics and supply chain systems.

Course Pedagogy
The primary method of instruction will be through LIVE lectures that will be beamed online via Internet to student desktops/laptops or classrooms. The pedagogy will comprise of lectures by XLRI faculty, case discussions, and hands on exposure to relevant software and tools. Concepts will be explained using examples drawn from the real life and will cover current trends and market practices. All enrolled students will also be provided access to our SLIQ Cloud Campus through which students may access other learning aids, reference materials, assessments, case studies, projects and assignments as appropriate. Throughout the duration of the course, students will have the flexibility to reach out to the professors, real time during the class or offline via our SLIQ Cloud Campus to raise questions and clear doubts.
Assessment
A minimum of 70% attendance to the LIVE lectures is a prerequisite for the successful completion of this program. There are periodic evaluations built in throughout the duration of the course. These maybe in the form of a quiz, assignment, project, case studies or other objective/subjective assessments. The evaluations are designed ensure continuous student engagement with the course and encourage learning.
Certification
Participants who successfully complete the same along with the requisite attendance criteria, will be awarded a certificate of completion by XLRI. Participants who are unable to clear the evaluation criteria but have the requisite attendance will be awarded a participation certificate by XLRI.
The final decision on evaluation methods rests with the institute and may change without prior intimation. Based on the performance in the assessments, participants are awarded grades – Excellent, Good, Average and Poor.

How to Register
To register for the Short Term Course, Executive Certificate Programme in Logistics & Supply Chain Management of XLRI, Jamshedpur;
- Online Application - Candidates are expected to submit Online Application Forms along with the admission fee of Rs. INR 35000 + Tax (for Indian Participants) to register for the Short Term Courses offered by XLRI Jamshedpur in association with Talent Edge.
- Registration - Candidates are requested to register by clicking on the Register button.
- Payment - Online applicants may use their "Log in ID" and "Password" to make their payment online.
- For the Credit Card Payment , the bank charges will be borne by the participants
- Certificate will be awarded based on the financial clearance
- Application Fees - Post registering successfully, candidates are expected to make an online payment of INR 35000 + Tax (for Indian participants) OR USD 700 (for international participants).
- Last date to apply - The last date for the payment of online application fees together with the first installment is 26 June 2020.
- Information details - Any application with incomplete information (eg: without photograph, educational details and details related to your work experience etc.) will not be accepted. Hence your application will stand cancelled .
- Eligibility
- For Indian Participants - Graduates (10+2+3) or Diploma Holders (only 10+2+3) from a recognized university (UGC/AICTE/ DEC/AIU/State Government) in any discipline .
- For International Participants - Graduation or equivalent degree from any recognized University or Institution in their respective country.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
